• Your Crina PDF pattern
• Preferred fabric
• Color matching thread
• 50 cm hidden zipper
• 1 pair of shoulder pads - 2 cm thick
• Reinforcement thread for shoulders and front neckline
• Interlining
• Sewing machine

Seam Allowances

• 1 cm seam
• 1.4 cm hem

Suggested Fabrics:

viscose, rayon, silk, light linen, light weight woven fabric

How much fabric do you need for your diy blouse?

In order to make sure you have enough fabric for your project, it is important to calculate the amount of fabric you will need. Based on the table below, you can estimate how much fabric is needed for each size, assuming that the chosen fabric has a useful width of 140-150 cm. Changes in fabric width or design (stripes, plaids, etc.) will require adjustments to placement of patterns. By taking the time to do this calculation before you start your project, you can avoid running out of fabric halfway through.

Check your contraction!

It's important to make sure that the fabric has been properly contracted first. Otherwise, you risk the finished product being a different size than what you were hoping for. The best way to check if a fabric has contraction is to iron it with steam. So, before you start cutting, be sure to contract your fabric first!
