What You'll Need:

• Your Luana PDF Mini Corset Skirt Pattern
• 1 hidden zipper
• Fusible interfacing
• Fusible reinforcement tape
• sewing machine
• colour matching thread

Seam Allowance:

• 1 cm seam
• 4 cm hem (1+3 double turned)

Suggested fabrics:

Woven fabrics suitable for skirts, such as cotton poplin, cotton twill, linen, light denim, twill, leather, tencel twill, tweed, jacquard, etc.

How much fabric for your diy skirt?

The table below lists the required fabric you will need for your diy skirt size based on a useful fabric width between 140 and 150 centimeters. If you choose to use a different width or pattern (like stripes, plaids, etc.), you will need to adjust the placement of the pieces so the garment will fit your available width.

Check contraction!

Test the fabric's contraction before cutting by ironing the fabric at its maximum heat recommendation; this will ensure that your finished garment will retain its intended size after initial wash.
